How to Assemble - User Guide for SC Field Installable Connectors (2.0/3.0mm type) Step 01: Insert the boot and ring into the cable. Step 02: Make mark on cable according to Mark 3 of the length chart. Step 03: Strip off the jacket from the Mark 3. Step 04: Make marks on buffer according to the length chart (Mark 1 : The starting point to strip the buffer. Mark 2 : Check point.) Step 05: Strip off the buffer and 250um coating till Mark 1 , and keep 125um fiber. Step 06: Follow the cutter's user guide to cut the fiber. Step 07: Press the tool and then insert the 125um fiber to reach the innermost until the buffer make a curve.Then release the tool and check if this buffer is tight. Step 08: Place the yarn in the slot of both side, then screw the ring. Step 09: Release the tape to take out the connector, and cut the extra yarn. Step 10: Move the boot toward to the stopper. Step 11: Release the tape to take out the connector, and done.
 How to Assemble - Reset the SC Field Installable Connectors (2.0/3.0mm type) Step 01: Pull the boot and ring out from the connector. Step 02: Put the Connector into the tool, tape the connector. Step 03: Press the tool to release the cable and check if they are the same as the chart shows. If it is the same, install the connector again. If the length between marks becomes shorter, broken fiber might be stuck inside the connector. This connector can not be used anymore. Step 04: Restart the installing process.
